These boats were designed to set new standards for recreational sailors, families, clubs, schools and holiday companies. The boats are easy to handle, fun to sail, versatile and highly durable.
Since launching this range, RS has been catapulted into another sailing world - spreading around the globe, gaining many new sailors, club and corporate customers weekly.
In fact, the RS Feva was the outright world's best selling two person sailboat in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and the RS Vision was the world's best seller in its sector. All the RS APB range continues to win accolades accross the world.

RS100 Class comes alive with events in Italy, Spain and the UK

The last couple of weeks have seen plenty of action now that RS100s have been delivered to many parts of the world. The RS100 Italia Cup, part of the European Tour, at Aquafresca on Lake Garda took place two weekends ago and congratulations to Stefano Ritzi, the overall winner. Meanwhile, the first UK RS100 class event, the DaKine sponsored National Championships at Parkstone, surprised even us with 43 boats hitting the start line in some baptism of fire conditions. And yet another event took place in Spain at the same time with Marc Figueres coming out on top in five of the six races. Next up it will be the RS100 European Grand Prix at Saint Raphael, France… Who’d have believed it just 15 months ago when the first prototype was launched?

RS700 GP – Lipno Lake, Czech Republic

Reports are just in from a three day RS700 Grand Prix in the Czech Republic last weekend. Sounds as though they had exciting racing and some challenging conditions at one of their favourite sailing locations - I quote "...but hey, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" !!. No wonder then, in true RS fashion, the racing was followed by plenty of "Pivo" - yes, you guessed it... beer. Congratulations to overall winner David Krizek - CZE923

DaKine sponsored RS100 UK Nationals coming up

The momentous first season for the new RS100 class is building towards its climax with the UK Nationals at Parkstone, Poole, this coming weekend and then the European Grand Prix at Saint Rafael in France three weeks later. Over 30 boats are expected to compete at Parkstone, with a Class training day preceding the event on Friday - all made possible by sponsorship from top quality wind and water sports equipment brand DaKine. Club fleets are building around the UK meaning many RS100 sailors can already enjoy one-design combat, but this will be the first major 100 fleet racing and therefore an especially big occasion.

New RS400 fleet in Hong Kong

The first six RS400s for the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club are being loaded into a container today. After careful consideration of their options, the club chose the RS400 a couple of months ago– very wise decision if we may say so and we know they’ll love the boats. They expect the fleet to build from this good start and we wish them great sailing. Look forward to some photos with the famous skyscraper backdrop!

Record fleet and incredible racing at the UK RS Elite Nationals

The Royal Lymington YC really pulled out the stops for the 33 boat RS Elite fleet at their Nationals which finished on Sunday. A perfect range of conditions, incredibly close racing, depth of talent and real camaraderie in the fleet – this regatta saw the class properly come of age. It sounds corny, but it genuinely is pretty hard to imagine how keelboat racing can get much better this.
