scene second to none. RS has become a phenomenon since its launch in 1994.
It's all about the sailors -
enthusiasm, camaraderie and competition.
RS provides the tools and our philosophy has never changed - use the latest
design developments and relevant construction technology to develop boats that deliver attainable performance and
exciting, one-design competition.
We work closely with the Class Associations who provide the rules, regattas,
training and communications.

Is Your Sailing School or Centre Interested in Becoming an RS Academy?
- Use of RS Boats
Award-winning boats, perfect for the teaching environment. The minimum requirement is two of 3 classes in our APB Range. RS Teras,RS Q'BAs, RS Fevas and RS Visions.
- Preferential Pricing
RS Academies receive preferential discount on the clubs and schools volume discount structure.
- Staff Training
RS Academy staff are trained by LDC in the specific fit-out, maintenance, and repair of polyethylene boats and also in performance sailing techniques for those Academies using more performance related boats.
- Extensive Promotional Opportunities
RS Academies benefit from promotional opportunities, including representation on the RS Sailing website, in RS sales literature, and an RS Academy desk at the London Boat Show, run by Centre staff.
- Promotional Materials
RS Academies receive a free RS Academy Wall Plaque and discounts on Flags, Banners and RS Academy staff clothing.
- RS Tera Dealership Opportunity
RS Academies are offered the opportunity to sell the RS Tera – a simple ‘boat in a box’ – directly to their customers, generating additional commission income towards the development of facilities.
