London Boat Show Success
The 2007 London Boat Show proved to be another
successful time for RS as far as Clubs, Centres and
Schools are concerned. Many of you took the time to come
and see me at the boat show stand, with some waiting
patiently for quite a while as I dealt with one enquiry
after another. Institutional Interest in has never been
so high.
Particular thanks go out to all the delegates from
training venues in Norfolk and Suffolk. I am very glad
to have seen so many of you from places where RS is
starting to make an impact. A few centres made the
decision to come onboard with new fleets and others are
following. This year will see a dramatic increase in the
size of RS Feva and RS Vision fleets in these counties.

RS Academy Update
I am now pleased to announce that eight
prestigious Outdoor Centres have committed to
becoming Academies this year, with a further
three looking at gaining RYA Recognition over
the coming season, in order to qualify. This is
one of the most exciting ventures that RS has
undertaken with regard to partnership schemes. I
am glad to be spearheading the proposal and
meeting so many like-minded people across the

Institutional Boat Options
- Tera one piece galvanised
launching trolley £129 inc vat.
- Feva one piece educational
mast has a main halyard clam cleat at deck
level and the halyard is passed through mast
gooseneck collar - £249.95 inc vat (before
discount) available in lieu of the standard
mast with new boats, or as additional item.
- Feva stern towing system A
webbing strop with a stainless eye on one end,
fed through the bailers in the transom and used
to clip / tie on a painter from another boat -
£8 inc vat. Can be retro-fitted
- Feva Halyard bag small
halyard bag for use on starboard side of cockpit
by the mast for main and jib lines.
- P clip and screw to route
the toestrap bungee away from under the gudgeon
on both Feva and Vision. Screws into the top
hole of the rudder retaining clip fitting. £2.95
inc vat. Can be retro-fitted.
- Vision Bow Fender / Towing
combination system Padded Bow fender with
integral webbing tow system and stainless ring
for painter attachment. £70.50 ex vat. Can be
fitted after purchase.
- Vision stern U-Bolt towing
System 2 Large U-Bolts fitted with backing
plates, making the attachment of a bridle much
easier and in-line towing a simple procedure.

- Vision Trapeze System an
existing accessory that requires very little
time to install. Trapeze lines, bungee, grip
tape, hooks and mast t terminals - £99 inc
vat. Perfect for all those advanced skills
courses.
- Quick Release Trapeze
Harnesses with the mandatory regulations of
2009 looming and quick release systems being the

Dinghy Sailing Show
RS will be at Alexandra Palace for the weekend of the
3rd and 4th of March. I will be available on the stand
