RS Tera – Key Points
for Clubs, Schools and Centres
Many major centres around the UK are enjoying the
RS Tera. If you would like more information about how the
RS Tera can be used in a training environment contact
Paul Rivington at Portsmouth Outdoor Centre –
paul@portsmouthoutdoor.co.uk who has had a fleet of
20 Teras in use since April this year.
|
- The
RS Tera was
designed for today’s young sailors, from novice to
junior expert.
- Simple to rig with
lightweight spars. Easy for a child to lift without
an adult.
- Lightest roto-moulded
dinghy on the market. Easy for a child to launch and
recover without adult intervention.
- Rudder can be
raised and lowered easily from the cockpit for
rudderless exercises.
- Small skeg and
raked rudder help beginners to handle the boat with
ease.
- Capsize recovery
is easy for even the lightest sailors – comes up dry
every time.
- The
RS Tera has a
strong tow line fitted as standard.
