I am pleased to announce that the RS
Academy partnership has recently gained support from two
clothing manufacturers,
Gul
and Fat Face. This will help to provide team kit for
Academy Staff at very competitive prices and also
provide cost effective merchandising for centres in
order to raise awareness of the strength of the Academy
brand and generate added revenue.
The RS Academy button on the
RSsailing.com website will be going live very soon
so keep your eyes open. Much work has been put into this
venture and with all of your support it will be
successful. |

Dinghy Sailing Show
Thanks to all of you who came to see me at the Dinghy
Show. I was glad to speak to so many clubs and schools
regarding their plans for development of fleets. It was
exciting to hear how many of you are managing to gain
access to the funding schemes that are helping clubs and
schools replenish kit to train more youngsters and
adults.
The Show stand was busy all weekend and our All Purpose
Boats range once again received very positive comments.
The
RS Tera in particular was singled out by many. It
has undergone much detail development over the last
couple of months and the new specification is proving to
be exactly what you have been asking for. Thanks for all
your feedback.

Institutional Extras
Demand for the institutional optional extras
that I have created for our training boats has
been high. Orders for Vision towing systems and
one-piece Feva masts are proving there is a real
need for these additional bits of kit. These
options are made possible by your feedback - if

Supply and Demand
One of the best things about my job is listening to and
watching the reaction of members of a club or centre
when they take delivery of a fleet of new boats. Since I
started at RS six months ago, I have learnt a great deal
about being on the other end of the supply and demand
equation. Delivery of RS boats is at its busiest at this
time of year. Many schools clubs and private customers
order boats over the winter period for delivery in early
Spring but a number of centres have ordered boats late
and we are trying hard to fulfil their demand in time
for the start of their sailing programmes. Please bear
this in mind next winter and place your orders as early
as possible so that we can plan our production
accordingly!
Thanks to all of you who have invited me along for demo
days over recent months and have been so hospitable. The
standard of tea making has been superb!

Regional Conferences and the feedback I have received

Team Racing in RS Visions
