We had an amazing time at boot Düsseldorf! It’s always a highlight to meet our customers face-to-face, reconnect with old friends, and introduce our models. Whether you’re weekend racers, club and school representatives, or families seeking their next adventure on the water, it was a pleasure to meet you and showcase our versatile range of boats.
Stand Re-Cap
This year was extra special, as we returned to celebrate the 56th edition of this international show. We welcomed not only the RS family but also our broader network of European dealers, all coming together on our stand to share in the excitement.
One of the highlights of our stand was the RS Aero, which marked its 10-year anniversary in 2024. The boat continues to generate significant interest, reinforcing its position as one of the best-selling modern single-handers in the racing world. Our Commercial Director, Michiel Geerling, introduced the RS Aero racing calendar for the year ahead.
We also made waves with the debut of the RS CAT12, a boat designed for beginners and ideal for those looking to introduce friends or family to catamaran sailing. It’s the latest addition to our growing catamaran range and brought a fun, beachy vibe to our stand. Check out the video!
Alongside the CAT12, we had our award-winning RS Toura, which was named Sailing World’s Best Dinghy 2024. Our ever-popular RS Zest, a favourite among training centres worldwide, was also on display. And don’t forget the RS21, our ultimate one-design racing keelboat, which stood tall on the stand.
A Sneak Peek at Something Coming…
You might have also noticed an intriguing addition to the line-up – an extra keelboat. The Aira 22, a daysailer developed by Aira Boats, was showcased alongside our RS fleet. A popular boat in the Netherlands since its inception in 2018, the Aira 22 offers a comfortable, stylish option for those looking for cruising adventures. As the founder of Aira Boats looks toward retirement, they’ve partnered with us to explore opportunities with the Aira 22, leveraging our global reach and established dealer network. While the future is still unfolding, we are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. Stay tuned – there’s more to come.
