Role – Operations Coordinator
Location – Romsey, Hampshire
RS Sailing, the world’s largest small boat brand, is currently seeking an Operations Coordinator to join their award winning team based in Romsey, Hampshire.
The role of the Operations Coordinator is perhaps the most diverse in the company and requires a person who is highly organised, tenacious and above all, able to communicate effectively with our customers and across all departments of the business.
Working closely with the Operations Manager you will be overseeing the scheduling and dispatch of each and every boat we produce. This requires constant contact with each of our dealers located around the world as well as with our individual retail customers across the UK. The ability to forge strong working relationships whilst delivering first class customer service is a must.
It’s a bit of a cliche but no two days are ever the same when you work in operations.
One minute you will be liaising with freight agents, organising shipping to far flung places, the next you will be on the phone to the distribution hub in the East Midlands organising their weekly dispatches or being briefed by the sales team on their latest sale.
Getting over 2000 boats out the door in a year can be a challenge but if you like variety, are mentally dexterous and thrive under pressure then this is the job for you.
Experience of Sage200 and knowledge of export procedures preferred but not essential.
