Buying a used boat is a popular route into a new class, which can often mean a lot of research into the finer details of what to look for when giving your potential new toy an inspection before parting with your hard earned cash. Trusting what you have read or been told to look for can sometimes be a bit daunting and with no guarantee, purchasing a used boat can be a mixed experience.

We offer a hassle free Part- Exchange programme meaning it is rare we do not have a used boat available for any potential buyer. We take away the stress of purchasing, by giving every boat a thorough check over in our workshop by our experienced team who know all the finer details of each class. Along with a check over, we offer a full refurbishment so any gelcoat repairs can be taken care of before the boat gets a full clean and polish……sometimes we wonder if the boat has been used once we have finished!
We also have the ability to adjust the spec of each boat to meet your exact requirements, so don’t worry if you see a listing that isn’t the perfect match, give our team a call and we can ensure you get the exact package you need. This is a process made easy, by the presence of our onsite RS Sailing Store. Not only do we give each boat an intense checkover, a refurb and tailor the spec to suit your exact needs, we also give each boat that leaves us a full 12 months warranty for that extra peace of mind. To get the ball rolling, all we need is a fully refundable deposit to prevent the boat from being sold to anyone else. Our team would then book the used boat into the workshop for the refurb, where we can get some pictures sent across for you to view.
