With the 2024 Southampton International Boat Show only two weeks away, excitement is building at RS Sailing for the opportunity to welcome visitors onto their magenta carpet and talk all things RS.
With the RS Aero celebrating its 10th birthday and off the back of a fantastic 6th World Championship, with 175 entries from 18 nations, RS is pleased to announce that RS Aero production is moving in-house. Production will be taking place at RS Sailing’s production facility in Cowes, which has been manufacturing the RS400 for 12 years and the RS21 for five years. The move will ensure even tighter quality control, outstanding final products, a lower carbon footprint and decreased build costs which will be passed onto the customer.
RS will be running an exclusive Boat Show offer on new RS Aero purchases throughout Southampton International Boat Show this year. Customers will see a brand-new RS Aero 7 available from £7,990, including a launching trolley and top cover*. Get the whole family involved by buying a second RS Aero rig with a 20% saving when bought with a new or used boat. Additional accessories, such as padded foil and spar bags, will be available with up to 40% off. Finally, RS Sailing are pleased to offer 50% off entry to the 7th RS Aero World Championships, which are taking place from 28 July to 2 August 2025 in France on the Quiberon peninsula for the first ten boats sold. Production is due to commence in early October, with a view to supply new boats from November 2024 onwards.
The RS Part-Exchange programme is available for existing RS Aero owners, offering a hassle-free upgrade option. For those keen to be involved in the RS Aero Class but unable to commit to a new boat, RS Sailing have a limited number of used and ex-charter boats available to buy.
