We can’t wait for Southampton International Boat Show to start this Friday, the RS team are busy rolling out the astroturf and rigging boats as you read this!
The show this year runs from 13-22 September and promises to be the biggest one yet. We’ll be taking the opportunity to celebrate our 30th Birthday again (there’s no such thing as too many celebrations, in our humble opinion), with the 10th Birthday of the RS Aero to celebrate too and the RS Aero Cycle Challenge finishing on our stand, the show promises to be a vibrant 10 days. We will be in our usual spot along the waterfront in Mayflower Park on stand E045.

RS Aero 10 year anniversary exclusive offer
RS will be running an exclusive Boat Show offer on new RS Aero purchases throughout Southampton International Boat Show this year. Customers will see a brand-new RS Aero 7 available from £7,990, including a launching trolley and top cover*. Get the whole family involved by buying a second RS Aero rig with a 20% saving when bought with a new or used boat. Additional accessories, such as padded foil and spar bags, will be available with up to 40% off. The RS Part-Exchange programme is available for existing RS Aero owners, offering a hassle-free upgrade option. For those keen to be involved in the RS Aero Class but unable to commit to a new boat, RS Sailing have a limited number of used and ex-charter boats available to buy.
RS Aero Bike Challenge
The RS Team are taking on a crazy challenge in memory of our much-loved friend and colleague, Maciej Nowaczyk, who sadly lost his fight with cancer earlier this year.
The team will be cycling from Coningsby, Lincolnshire to Southampton International Boat Show in Hampshire, the 200 mile distance being made even more challenging by towing an RS Aero between them. Maciej was an integral part of the RS team since 2014, helping to dispatch and deliver thousands of boats around the world.
His favourite job was to deliver new boats to excited customers in the UK, visiting new places and mixing with the sailing community. So they’ve decided to ride the 200 miles in his honour, making his final delivery one to remember.
They will be fundraising in support of Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes and this is the mantra the team will take with them as they take on the RS Aero bike ride challenge! Find out more.

We will be overlooking the marina and the ‘Try Sailing’ sessions run by Rockley Watersports. They’ll have the RS Quest and RS Toura for you to have a go.
