- Simplified Design: The RS CAT12 includes a furling jib, reefing mainsail, and a masthead float, focusing on safety and ease of use for beginners.
- Strong & Durable: Built with a robust rotomolded PE1 hull, the boat is easy to launch and handle with front grab handles and kick-up rudders.
- Innovative Features: Unique bow fenders snap into the hull for added protection, and the boat features concave seating for comfort.
- Joyful Performance: The boat is designed to be fun and versatile, perfect for learning, but also for playing, jumping off, and swimming. It includes an optional single trapeze for added excitement.
- Easy to Use: It’s lightweight, quick to assemble, and requires little maintenance, making it ideal for training and recreational use.

The RS CAT12 debuted at La Rochelle Boat Show in October 2024 and will appear at additional shows in 2025:
