RS Feva Worlds at Aix-les-Bains, France – Overall

August 5, 2025

Crowning of our 2025 World Champions

As our World Championships drew to a thrilling close on Friday afternoon, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation! Sailors and families were buzzing with excitement as they prepared for their journey home, eagerly looking forward to the iconic Feva prize-giving ceremony. The event was a joyous celebration, where sailors, parents, coaches, and volunteers came together, rekindling old friendships and forging new ones, all united in their delight over this spectacular event.

Throughout the championship, the level of talent on display was nothing short of extraordinary. Two teams, in particular, dazzled everyone with their phenomenal performances on the water. Team Zofia Wells and Charlotte Handley from New Zealand (sail no. 9153) dominated the qualifying series with sheer brilliance! Meanwhile, the Austrian duo, David Vogl and Valentin Vogl (sail no. 5842), were absolutely unstoppable during the final series!

We are thrilled beyond words to crown David Vogl and Valentin Vogl from Austria (sail no. 5842) as our 2025 World Champions! Their flawless sailing in the final series was a testament to their skill and determination, making their victory incredibly well-deserved. A massive round of applause and heartfelt congratulations to David and Valentin Vogl for clinching the 2025 World Champions title!

More thank you’s to the Sailors for your friendly spirits, to the Coaches and parents for being the sailors here and your support throughout this event, and the year.

The Feva Class Association has absolutely loved this event, and we’re excited to see you next year at Travemünde for our 2026 World Championships as part of the RS Games where our Feva family will come together and will be bigger than ever! I will finish with a well-known RS Sailing hash tag that says it all: #sailitliveitloveit.
