The International RS21 Class Association is delighted to announce the full racing calendar for the 2026 RS21 Eurocup. Spanning five countries and featuring both the 2026 European and World Championships, the season promises top-tier one-design racing at some of the most iconic sailing venues in Europe.
RS21 Class Manager, Liam Willis, is energised by what’s to come. “RS21 events are about great one-design racing, prestigious venues, and the amazing community from all across Europe that come together for it. In 2026, we’re celebrating those pockets of RS21 activity that have grown so strongly – and welcoming even more sailors into the class.”
Each EuroCup event aligns with a major national or international regatta, showcasing the strongest RS21 communities across Europe. Round 1 hosts the Dutch National Championships, while Round 4 incorporates the Italian Nationals. Round 3 joins the legendary Cowes Week Regatta in the UK as the event celebrates its 200th edition. Round 2 is embedded within Travemünder Woche – Northern Europe’s largest sailing festival – and runs alongside RS Sailing’s own four-year celebration, the RS Games 2026. Rounding it all off, Round 6, the EuroCup finales concludes in Cannes with the 2026 RS21 World Championships.
“It truly is going to be a summer packed with RS21 activity,” says Liam. “We know how much time and energy sailors invest into their campaigns, and delivering these events to the high standard we expect is a big part of why the class keeps growing year on year. It’s the sailors, volunteers, host venues, and everyone in between who make this racing scene so special.”

The RS21 World Championships in 2026-27
“Cannes in 2026 is set to be a brilliant finale to the Euro Cup,” says Liam. With its rich sailing heritage, exceptional facilities, and world-class hospitality scene, Cannes is sure to deliver an unforgettable World Championship experience.
Looking ahead, the Class Association is equally excited to confirm that Weymouth, UK, will host the 2027 RS21 World Championships – marking the first occasion an international RS21 championship takes place in home waters. RS Sailing and the Class Association look forward to welcoming teams from around the globe.
Charter Boats Available
No RS21? No problem. Charter boats will be available at every event listed above, with RS Sailing providing its travelling fleet of One-Design RS21s to ensure anyone can get on the start line. Sailors are encouraged to contact the Class Association early, as demand is expected to be high.
