A fleet of 36 new RS Fevas were flying as young sailors from across Catalonia hit the water for a thrilling event on 15th June hosted by The Barcelona International Sailing Centre. Catalonia’s brand-new Youth Sailing League saw up to 80 students took part.
Backed by Federació Catalana de Vela and Barcelona Capital Nàutica, this innovative program is more than just a regatta series, it is a platform for young people to grow, compete, and connect through the power of sailing. Designed to ignite a lifelong love of sailing in the next generation, the league brings together young sailors through monthly meetups, quarterly regattas, and one epic annual finale.
With 18 schools and sailing clubs already on board, Lliga Blava Escolar is not only about developing sailing skills. It’s about inclusion, equal opportunity, and creating a strong sense of belonging on and off the water.The Feva-volution is here and it’s just getting started.
