We know that buying a boat is a big decision, whether it’s for epic adventures with your family or fantastic weekends away racing with your mates, we believe that our buying process should be transparent and give you absolute confidence in RS. So check out the steps below, it’s not all-encompassing and some steps change, for example, if you’re part-exing your existing RS or if you’ve ordered something a little bit more bespoke, but we hope this gives you a clearer idea of what the process is.

Step One – Take a look
Head to our website, our showroom at RS HQ, our boatshow stand or simply give us a call.

Step Two – Explore your options
From second-hand to box fresh ones, there’s loads of opportunities to own your very own RS at different price points.

Step Three – Choose your RS
Whether you’re looking for a flat-out racer, a family cruiser or a training best-seller. We have something for everyone at RS!

Step Four – No obligation quote
Get a true no-obligation quote from the team by filling out our online quote form, or talking it through with one of the RS Sales Team members on the phone.

Step Five – Tailor your quote
If you are keen to move forward, talk through your quote with the RS Sales Team and really tailor it to your needs and budget.

Step Six – Confirm your quote
Lock in your quote with a refundable 25% deposit. An approximate lead time is then confirmed.

Step Seven – It’s logistics time
You’re now passed to the RS Operations Team, where they keep you up to date with your order from the day you receive it.

Step Eight – Order confirmation
You will receive an Order Confirmation alongside our T&Cs, rigging guide and owner’s manual.

Step Nine – Sometime later…
Two weeks before your approximate completion day, the RS Operations team will reach out to you and plan your collection/delivery.

Step Ten – Balance payment
Your final balance payment will be due shortly before collection/delivery.

Step Eleven – New boat day
Whether you’ve arranged collection or delivery, the RS Operations team will give you all the information you need.

Step Twelve – Customer Care
