Can I part-exchange my RS Aero?

August 2, 2021
Can I part-exchange my RS Aero?

Are you looking to upgrade your boat? Have you thought about what to do with your old one? You can part-exchange any RS boat with us! It is widely agreed that part exchanging your old boat is so much simpler than trying to sell it yourself. Nobody wants to endure the endless phone calls, messages and no shows… fortunately, we can take care of that for you!

At RS, we pride ourselves on friendly customer service and providing smooth experiences. Our part-exchange scheme doesn’t differ too much from the typical process of buying a boat. It really is quite simple:

  1. Phone up our friendly team or get an online quote
  2. Let us know the age, conditions and extras of your boat
  3. We’ll provide a valuation that will be deducted from your new RS (subject to inspection)

Aside from the effortlessness and swift process, part-exchanging is also better for the environment. We are actively trying to be more sustainable as an organisation. Therefore, where possible we refurbish your loved boat and pass it on to a new family. Don’t just take our word for it, here’s what Peter Blakey has to say…

“When RS announced their part-exchange drive, I initially thought to myself… I’m happy with my current Aero as there’s nothing wrong with it. Then I got thinking… I could do with a new sail as this one is nearly 2 years old…

My rationale for spending the extra is rather than buying just a new sail, I do a deal with Steve which gets me a new everything! You can’t beat that new boat feeling.

I’ve used the part exchange scheme twice now and it’s very pain-free, easy and I like the thought that some else out there is enjoying my old boats as much as I did…”

RS sailors often part-ex their boat to level up or if they’ve outgrown their boat. Using this scheme to swap for a more challenging and newer boat is a brilliant way to keep progressing through our range without breaking the bank. If you want to find out more about how it works, get in touch with our sales team!
