About us: At RS Sailing, we process over 250 orders per week during the summer season. We prioritise effective communication with our customers to ensure they receive the best service, enhancing their enjoyment on the water.
Position Overview: As part of the parts and dispatch team, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person at the RS Sailing Store. Additionally, you will collaborate with the dispatch team to assist in packing and dispatching parts orders. Given the peak season workload of 250 orders per week, this role is crucial for team functionality and requires individual task management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the preparation and dispatching of RS Sailing Store orders.
– Talking to customers and assisting them to place an order. Via email, over the phone, and face-to-face.
– Helping pick and prepare regatta support stock that will go to our events throughout the summer.
– Help put new stock on the shelves when it comes into RS HQ.
Essential Skills:
– Confident using computers.
– Maintain a polite, professional manner when dealing with customers.
– Be able to work as an individual when completing tasks.
– Good communication skills that will allow you to work as a team member.
– Ideally, you will be a keen sailor as it will help you when answering questions.
– Charismatic, personable, and able to respond well in pressure situations.
