Are you looking for part-time summer work? At RS Sailing, we are looking for people who are passionate about sailing, and enjoy providing information and support to other sailors, to join our busy Parts and Dispatch team throughout the summer season.
The role will involve working alongside our core Parts and Dispatch Team helping to provide the high level of service and support that RS Sailing has become renowned for. You will be expected to help respond to customer enquiries, both on the phone and via email, as well as face-to-face in the shop.
The role will also entail working with the despatch team and helping to assist with the packing and dispatching of parts orders. During peak season, we process 250 orders a week, so this role is pivotal to the function of the team and working on tasks as an individual.
As a potential candidate, you will be charismatic, personable, and able to respond well in pressure situations. It will be important that you can maintain a polite, professional manner when dealing with customers. You will need to be confident using computers as a lot of work will be done online. Ideally, you will be a keen sailor as it will help you when answering questions.
