RS Sailing has entered into a new partnership with British boat builder Gingerboats Racing Ltd. The collaboration will see Gingerboats Racing Ltd take on the manufacturing of the RS200, an iconic double hander in the RS Sailing range and the UK dinghy racing scene.
With adrenaline packed racing and a lively social scene, the RS200 is one of the most popular two person sailboats of today. Perfect for moderate weight teams, it’s a winner with mixed crews, young sailors and family teams at clubs, championships and on the RS Racing Circuit.
Established in 2011, Gingerboats Racing Ltd are known for their passion for building racing boats, using not only traditional methods, but also the latest in modern design and construction techniques from their busy workshop near Kewsick, Cumbria. Gingerboats Racing Ltd is going from strength to strength with their two Directors at the helm, Phil Hodgkins and Alex Leonard. The duo are renowned for building traditional dinghy racing classes, alongside leading development classes where attention to detail and quality are essential.
