Features including comfortable side decks and inner seating promotes confidence for the young or inexperienced crews and the pivoting centreboard and rudder make launching and recovery safe and simple. Exciting sailing and easy handling
With many features found in modern performance classes, such as a spinnaker and a self draining cockpit, the 2000 combines exciting sailing with easy handling that inspire confidence. The option of two specifications enables the sailor or centre to tailor the boat to their needs.
On the Race spec boat the Mylar mainsail is light weight and low stretch. There is a Dacron mainsail on the Club spec boat for durability. The Dacron jib on both specs is furling, for convenience and safety. The integral furling drum within the jib tack bar gives a smooth spinnaker chute mouth and minimal chance of snagging.
Long lasting durability
The hull is easier and faster to handle made from GRP foam sandwich composite construction with a high strength laminate for durability and long life.
