RS Sailing is excited to announce the return of the RS Aero Worlds!
Following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the RS Aero Worlds is back. The event will be held June 24th – July 1st at the Columbia River Gorge in Hood River, Oregon. The inaugural event was held in Carnac, France in 2017 and saw 96 sailors, from 16 countries travelling to the Bretagne coast. The next two years reflected the ongoing growth of event as well as the RS Aero Class, with the 2018 Worlds having a record-breaking 205 sailors competing.
Hoping for another record-breaking year, the Columbia Gorge Racing Association and Pacific Northwest RS Aero fleets have been preparing to host the worlds since 2019. The event is open to all boats of the RS Aero 5, RS Aero 7, and RS Aero 9 classes. Sailors from across the globe have already registered for the event, representing countries near and far such as the US, Great Britain and Uruguay. Registration is open from now until June 24th. However, sailors that register before April 1st will pay a reduced registration fee. Register today here!

Aside from the RS Aero World Championship, sailors are invited to partake in the pre-regatta events as well. A Pre-Worlds Practice Event on June 18th and 19th as well as a clinic June 21st – 23rd. Sailors will be able to get out on the water and gain experience with the unique conditions as well as receive coaching from RS Aero experts.
