RS21 Newest Edition to National Offshore One Design Series – RS Sailing brings customers the opportunity to charter their most popular model
The RS21 Keelboat is the newest fleet to join the 2019 Helly Hansen NOOD Regatta Series presented by Sailing World. The series has five stops in the United States, six RS21 charters will be available at each of the events. Charters offer participants a fully set up boat, onshore support, and coaching.
The RS21 is the latest model from RS Sailing, the world’s largest small sailboat manufacturer with a mission to get more people sailing. The RS21 is their answer to growing keelboat participation with a progressive and affordable solution for sailors interested in competitive one design and club level keelboat racing. The RS21 is not only pure joy to sail, RS Sailing has also considered the environmental aspect of the design with “eco-construction”, six boats fitting in a shipping container and a built in Torqeedo Electric Sail-Drive.
Charters are available at each of these events for $2,500.00 per boat including St. Petersburg, February 15-17, San Diego, March 15-17, Annapolis, May 3rd – 5th, Chicago, June 7-9, and in Marblehead, July 25-28.
“We’re really excited to host the RS21 fleet at all of our NOOD Regattas in 2019,” Dave Reed, Sailing World editor, says. “As a boat that’s designed and built for fleet racing, match racing or team racing, it’s a perfect fit for our regattas. The charter and coaching concept is an excellent and economical way for teams to come and race, to learn and experience a truly modern keelboat.”
