As we jump into the new year it is expected that we all start planning for the year ahead. If your plan includes buying a new boat, the process of researching and purchasing may seem daunting.
Enter: the boat show.
For those that are uncertain about what kind of boat they want to buy, boat shows are a great way to learn about a wide range of boats, accessories and parts. Or, if you are someone that is not currently in the market to buy, but you like to stay in the know on the latest and greatest, boat shows are an excellent opportunity to learn what is new and noteworthy.
The Toronto boat show is the largest indoor boat show in all of North America. Typically, attendees travel from across North America to attend the weekend long event, however, due to Covid-19 concerns, this year’s show is now a virtual event.
The Toronto virtual boat show is unique in that it is free for attendees to come and “see” the exhibitors and their booths. Whether the show is in person or virtual, there is no better way to connect with dealers and sellers that can help you through the boat buying process (plus they will often offer special, show-specific, deals or incentives).
RS distributer Fogh Marine, a long-time exhibitor at the Toronto boat show, will be participating as a virtual exhibitor for the second year in a row. Fogh Marine founder and CEO, Morten Fogh, explained to us how they are participating in this year’s show. “[We] normally have two booths, one for our boats and one for our retail, cash and carry accessories,” he said. “We plan on showing several of the RS sailing boats and catamarans, as well as other products, including many kayaks.”
For those interested in attending event The show will be live online from January 26 – January 30 at torontoboatshow.com. In the Toronto area? Check out Fogh Marine at their location in Toronto or head to their website.
