Appoint additional builders worldwide – RS Sailing working with World Sailing
- Ensure: The required number – Geographic spread in key regions – Suitable expertise – Quality control
Initial delivery schedule – implemented in conjunction with World Sailing
- Ensure: Fair international spread through high demand period
Youth Worlds – propose selection of RS Aero as the One Person Boys & Girls Equipment
- Start building the pipeline of the next sailor generation
- Offer favourable pricing for youth programs
Run dual One-Person fleets in both Laser and RS Aero at events (as required) for 24 months
- Ensures all programs, training, racing and qualification continue as transition builds
- Allow current fleets to remain active during the transition period – nothing would stop immediately
- Allow time for RS Aero fleets to grow
- Allow time for sailors and organisations to transition into RS Aero
- Allow qualification for major events (Youth Worlds / Regional Games / Championships) in Laser – subject to WS approval – for 24 months
RS Sailing Event support team
- Charter boat availability at significant events
- Pre-event coaching by RS Aero experts at significant events
RS Dealer support program – major RS dealers to assist with:
- Distribution of new RS Aeros
- Provide training in set-up & maintenance
- Make one (or more) RS Aero available for (MNA nominated) key sailor use for 12 months
- Hold stock of spare parts
